Ombré Brows are a form of permanent makeup that creates the appearance of soft, fuller and beautifully defined brows using a gentle pixelated shading technique.
HANNCE Brows are our signature Ombré Brow treatment. Using advanced permanent makeup techniques, they create soft, natural-looking definition that mimics the appearance of fuller brows without the harsh or blocky look often associated with traditional eyebrow tattooing. Every treatment is individually designed around your unique features to enhance your face rather than overpower it.
HANNCE Brows are created using advanced permanent makeup techniques and premium REACH-compliant pigments selected for beautiful healed colour, resulting in soft, natural-looking brows that are tailored specifically to you.
Both treatments are designed to enhance your brows, but they achieve different results.
Ombré Brows create a soft, pixelated powder effect that heals beautifully and is suitable for most skin types, including oily and mature skin. The treatment is done using a handheld digital machine and pigment is shaded softly and gradually into the skin in a gradient effect.
Microblading is done using a manual blade to slice the skin and implant pigment to create the effect of replicated hairstrokes. This is not suitable for mature skin or oily skin as the strokes blur and merge into one solid colour.
Many clients choose Ombré Brows because they are suitable for all skin types, offer a reliably softer healed appearance, longer-lasting results and the technique is less invasive than microblading.
HANNCE Ombré Brows can last up to 3 years. A colour boost is recommended every 12 to 24 months to keep your brows looking fresh.
HANNCE Brows slowly fade over time and factors such as skin type, skin care, sun exposure and lifestyle can affect how quickly or slowly your brows fade.
At HANNCE, our technique is very gentle and we have even had clients fall asleep! Most clients are pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the treatment is and report feeling a gentle scratching sensation rather than it being painful.
We would recommend scheduling your appointment around your monthly cycle as sensitivities can be heightened during this time.
Immediately after your HANNCE Brows treatment, your brows will appear darker and more defined than the final healed result. This is a normal part of the healing process.
Over the next few days, light scabbing will begin to form. It's important to allow this to come away naturally without picking or scratching, which usually happens within 7 to 10 days.
Once the scabs have naturally shed, your brows may appear much lighter than expected. This is completely normal. As your skin continues to heal, the pigment will gradually reappear and soften over the following weeks, revealing the beautifully natural result your treatment was designed to achieve.
The initial healing process takes around 4 weeks, after which your brows can be assessed to see how they've healed. A complimentary perfecting session is then carried out 6 to 8 weeks after your initial appointment to refine the colour, shape and any areas where additional pigment is needed, ensuring the best possible long-term result.
Your first HANNCE Brows appointment typically lasts around 2.5 to 3 hours.

Yes, pigments play a crucial role in both the safety of your treatment and the quality of your healed results.
At HANNCE, we use premium REACH-compliant pigments that meet strict European safety regulations designed to protect both clients and practitioners.
REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. It ensures that pigments used in permanent makeup meet high standards for safety, stability and quality.
These pigments have been carefully selected following extensive research carried out by Hannah into pigmentology and pigment science. They are chosen for their high-quality raw ingredients and predictable behaviour in the skin, helping them heal beautifully while maintaining soft, natural-looking colour over time without unwanted tones or rapid fading.
You should avoid applying makeup directly to the treated area until your brows have fully healed. However, you can still wear makeup on the surrounding areas of your face, just be careful to keep it away from your brows while they are healing.
Ideally, treatment should be completed at least 4 weeks before travelling to allow sufficient healing time.
If you have a holiday coming up, it's best to plan your appointment in advance so your brows have time to heal and your perfecting session can be completed if needed.
